In their ceremony at the Historic Barn Stay in Byron Bay, Kristy and Tim’s celebrant read what Kristy loved most about Tim “That we always laugh together” was high up on the list. When you see these two together, it is so clear how much they love each other, support each other to be the best versions of themselves and how much fun they have together.
One of the best parts of the day was speeches – I always love a good speech, to be sure, but the amount of love and laughter in the room was INCREDIBLE. I may have included a few too many pics of this part of the day, but when the reactions are gold like that, how could I resist?
They travelled up together from Sydney with their beloved dog Missy to hold what can only be described as an EPIC DIY wedding. A caravan and four cars of things for the wedding travelled up the pacific motorway to create a modern, woodland, dream wedding. It is always such a privilege being a vendor in a DIY wedding as everything is made with so much love and care and you really feel the community spirit sending the couple off into married life together.
Now, a little note about the venue. The Historic barn Stay/Tooraloo is AMAZING. I had never worked there before and I think I walked around in a trance all day taking in the view, the styling, the details. It really provided an incredible backdrop for this part of Kristy and Tim’s adventure whilst allowing them to spend a few days with their family in a gorgeous environment.
Onwards, to the photos!
