It seems like every wedding of late is even more amazing, not because of the decor or the venue (although having Princess theatre wedding is amazing), but because of the people. The stories of these two and their loved ones and the people who came out to celebrate with them were incredible. So many people travelled from across the world to be with them on their special day!
Trina is a drama teacher, so getting married on a stage seemed a natural choice. The beautiful Princess Theatre was the most perfect of backdrops for these two to finally start their marriage (nine years of adventures, love and laughter came before!). Their awesome celebrant encouraged everyone to clap and applaud as Trina came up the aisle and she later said it was one of the best moments of the day (her smile certainly seemed to suggest this!).
Getting married on New Year’s Eve was a bit of a rockstar move. From the deck of their reception venue at Customs House, their guests marvelled and snuggled as the fireworks went off at 8:30 and then the speeches. OH MY GOSH. I have never laughed more at speech time!
Chris and Trina, thank you SO MUCH for having me along. It was seriously the best way ever to start 2019!
But, onwards to the photos!

The HUGEST shout out to my amazing partner in crime of 17 years who came along to assist me at the reception and got that final shot! It’s my favourite and probably the best reason to have a second photographer!
